Our paisley fine corduroy has been sourced from a Japanese mill established in 1948, famousfor their high-quality waving techniques, superior craftsmanship and rich history. This cloth islightweight with a soft handle. The Paisley Pattern can be traced back to the Indo-Europeancultures of 2,000 and more years ago. In Britain the pattern is represented in Celtic art, whichdied out in Europe under the influence of the Roman Empire. It wasn’t until the 19th century when the print gained its modern name, paisley. The Scottish town of Paisley became the leading producer of the Kashmir-inspired shawls, and therefore the buto print became known as paisley. Contrary to common belief, the design didn’t originate in Scotland – though, if you were to visit the town you won’t be surprised to see that the shops and cafes are heavily draped in paisley.

Our double faced, lightweight and breathable Japanese cloth which has been sourced from a mill famous for their high-quality weaving techniques, superior craftmanship and rich history. The outer face of the cloth features a four colour woven check with unique texture whilst the inner face of the cloth is a soft plain cotton feeling cool and comfortable against the skin.

Our Italian jacquard represents what makes our brand unique - quality, creativity and innovation. The unique construction of the cloth offers an interesting texture with slight stretch. Super breathable, the cloth is lightweight and has been digitally printed with an abstract camo design. Sourced from a mill based in Northern Italy, they have been operating since 1950 and specialise in innovating a versatile range of cloth from fleece to specialist jerseys.

JUMBO COTTON CORDUROY

ORIGIN - PORTUGAL

Corduroy is soft, and very very strong. The strength comes from its ribbed construction, and its durability made it an outerwear staple in 19th Century England. Combining luxury with durability this  cotton corduroy has a natural feel with the garment dye process giving them a three dimensional look.

SOW THISTLE PRINT

For SS24, we have developed two custom botanical prints in house from a hand painted Alpine Blue Sow-thistle. This extremely rare species is only known to survive naturally in four locations in Scotland. Both versions have been printed onto lightweight textured cotton, helping to elevate and lift the prints.

This relaxed textured cotton, is soft and lightweight making it ideal for summer. Sourced from a Portuguese family-owned mill which was established in 1956 and specialised in ready-to-dye cloths. This cloth has been used across two styles and dyed in colours to reflect the colours of the Isle of Skye landscape.

Our striped towelling jersey is lightweight with a soft handle and slub texture. We have experimented with overdying this cloth to create unique colour options. Sourced from a Portuguese Mill who have over thirty years experience knitting jersey, piqué, rib, interlock and terry fabrics.
